I was raised in a typical Midwest home. My mother was a stay-at-home mom that raised, and taught, my four siblings and I. My father worked as a graphic artist and photographer at the same company for over thirty years. They both instilled invaluable life lessons and work ethic in me. Unfortunately we lost my father in 2011. The RL in our name stands for Ronald Lavern, his name, which will serve as an enduring legacy of his hard work, passion, and dedication. From an early age I loved the arts and knew I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my father. So I went off to college to make that happen. After a short attempt, I realized it wasn’t for me, and decided the automotive industry was where I was supposed to be. Now, 20+ years later, I’ve learned more than I could have ever imagined; relationships, communication, business, managing and developing people. As I travel and see new places, my passion for exploration has grown. I believe everyone should have the same opportunities to experience the world, and that is the reason I started RL Property Company. My goal is to share our experiences with you so that your experiences create memories that will last a lifetime.

As an only child raised by a single mother, traveling wasn’t feasible, yet I’ve always had a taste for exploration. As life expanded, so did my horizons. My first move from my modest upbringing was to Los Angeles. From there, Houston and Chicago would follow. In the years since, as a Personal/Executive Assistant and Flight Attendant, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to nearly all 50 states and multiple countries. Now my goal is to share these experiences, and expertise collected along the way, with the world.

Since I was a little girl, my family has traveled. I always loved exploring new places, and now, as an adult, it’s still one of my favorite things to do. When I’m not exploring, I am a full time makeup artist and manager of a salon in downtown Kansas City. I’ve been a professional makeup artist for 9 years and have recently been voted Best Wedding Makeup Artist in Kansas City. I love what I do; making people look and feel their best is my dream.

I’m now thrilled to bring this same passion and dedication to RL Property Company as the Guest Service Director. Customer service has, and is, my main focus and I apply it to every aspect of my life. My goal is to bring this same level of expectation to your travel experience!
