I was raised in a typical Midwest home. My mother was a stay-at-home mom that raised, and taught, my four siblings and I. My father worked as a graphic artist and photographer at the same company for over thirty years. They both instilled invaluable life lessons and work ethic in me. Unfortunately we lost my father in 2011. The RL in our name stands for Ronald Lavern, his name, which will serve as an enduring legacy of his hard work, passion, and dedication. From an early age I loved the arts and knew I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my father. So I went off to college to make that happen. After a short attempt, I realized it wasn’t for me, and decided the automotive industry was where I was supposed to be. Now, 20+ years later, I’ve learned more than I could have ever imagined; relationships, communication, business, managing and developing people. As I travel and see new places, my passion for exploration has grown. I believe everyone should have the same opportunities to experience the world, and that is the reason I started RL Property Company. My goal is to share our experiences with you so that your experiences create memories that will last a lifetime.
